Bishop Willigers

Bishop Willigers Secondary School is situated next to St Michael’s. There are already around 400 pupils in the 4 year groups - and as funds allow and building work continues, the number of students will increase.

It is our aim that children from the two primary schools continue their education at Bishop Willigers.

In 2020 Bishop Willigers became a grant-aided school (this means the teachers are now on the government payroll), which is a huge achievement but yet there is much still to do. We have funded the construction of school buildings, teacher accommodation, fencing and fund the salary of the IT teacher but there is still a long way to go - and we are looking for donors to support the ongoing development of Bishop Willigers School.

We also fund four girls (pictured left) at Bishop Willigers for their Secondary Education, who are from the local area and are academically able but would not be able to afford secondary education.
